Mini Trebuchet Kit:
Release Pin - $25.00 each
-- If you are planning on launching any large projectile, 6 lbs or more, this is going to be your best bet to repeatedly launch. This is easy to install, easy to set and easy to adjust. As opposed to a nail, this will maintain the angle, launch after launch. We couldn’t find anything like this anywhere so we made our own and want to make it available to everyone out there.

In order to use the Oakland Ballistics Release Pin, you will need to attach the pivot hole to your throwing arm. The hole is ½” wide. Next you will need to attach a turnbuckle to the push/pull hole, again the hole is ½”. This will allow for very small, precise adjustments. You will then attach the other end of the turnbuckle and you are done. We have used this to launch 8 lb projectiles 900 ft. We cannot guarantee the breaking point of this but it is laser cut out of 3/8” steel.
